Our building has three levels with an elevator giving access to each level. Our building entrance is wheelchair accessible.  Our washrooms are in the basement, with a stall suitable for a wheelchair in the women's washroom

We also provide resources for those needing hearing assistance including print copies of the sermon and devices for amplification. If you'd like to make use of these nifty gadgets, please talk with the person running the sound booth at the back of the sanctuary.

Our Church Denomination:

We belong to a  wider family of churches called the Christian Reformed Churches of North America made up of more than 1000 churches in Canada and the US. As a denomination, we are involved in a number of areas that address the brokenness of life locally and globally.

Pastor Joe Ellis

Joe is originally from Anchorage, Alaska, but has called Telkwa home for the past eight years. He studied English at the University of Anchorage and received his Master of Divinity from Regent College in Vancouver, where he met his lovely wife, Michelle.

Joe's previous employment includes being a zookeeper, a mountain guide and a custodian. Joe enjoys roasting his own coffee, reading and hiking.

Pastor Michelle Ellis

Michelle grew up in Orangeville, Ontario and studied English Literature and Religion and Theology at Redeemer University. She moved out west to attend Regent College in Vancouver where she received her Master of Divinity.

Michelle divides her time between being a pastor and caring for her and Joe's three kiddos, and she's very thankful she can engage in both of these joyful and challenging roles!  Michelle enjoys drinking the coffee Joe roasts, sewing and treasure hunting at second-hand stores.
